We serve our neighbors in White Oak, Coulter and Versailles Borough who have limited income by providing essential support through a variety of programs and community connections.

Our regular food distributions are the 3rd Friday of each month 11:00 am-1:00 pm.

In addition to distributing food, we connect our neighbors with other community resources and share information from the school district and other local organizations. Furthermore, we provide space for representatives from health awareness campaigns and similar initiatives.

Senior boxes and emergency boxes of non-perishable items can be obtained on non-distribution days; please contact us for availability.

Further Emergency Assistance

While we do not provide SNAP assistance, our partner Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church distributes grants for emergency rental and utility assistance if you have received an eviction or shut-off notice. For more information, please contact the church office.

Our History

The Cupboard Stretchers-White Oak Food Pantry was formally created in January 1983.

Though the format has changed and evolved throughout the years as we respond to the needs of the community, we have consistently provided much-needed support to our neighbors for decades.

Growing out of the Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church’s ministry of community food box distributions that occurred at Thanksgiving and Christmas, Cupboard Stretchers-White Oak Food Pantry was founded to support our neighbors with a consistently available resource throughout the year.
